answered 4 years ago In Southern European countries like Greece, online dating is mainstream. Ten years ago, online dating was a taboo topic in these countries, but today online dating is definitely mainstream. Almost every dater has tried online dating at some stage in their life these days.
Note that Greek women are more traditional than women in other European countries. Just like the famous movie “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”, Greek people value family and marriage, so if a single Greek woman stays single in her 30s, the pressure from her family is huge. Therefore, online dating in Greece is more about finding serious relationships rather than one-night stands.
