If the offender is a criminal, this person might have to spend some time in jail & you will need to go to the prison to see your partner. Do you really want to do that?
Another problem is… how are you going to explain this to your family and friends? Can you tell your parents that you are dating a s*x offender? Probably no.
Also, if the offender has done something so bad once, maybe they will do it again. Are you sure you want to take such a risk in your future relationship? I guess you’d better protect yourself.
